WHY HIRE AN INTIMACY COORDINATOR?
Intimacy coordination ensures that the filming process for intimate scenes is carried out comfortably both behind and in front of the screen.
This role acts as a mediator between the actor/actress and the director/technical team, facilitating everyone's work. This person is responsible for supervising scenes of intimacy, nudity, and/or simulated sex in the production, to ensure the physical and emotional safety of the performers.

ABOUT FILMING INTIMACY
Filming Intimacy emerged in the summer of 2021 from the need to protect consent and safeguard the performers on the set of 'Objetos', a film directed by Jorge Dorado. Along with Amazon, Cristina Zumárraga of Tandem Films suggested the idea of including this new role in the project, even though this position was not yet officially recognized in the Spanish film industry.
Two more projects came along and there was greater interest from the platforms in including the role in Spanish productions, so its founder began formal training with a couple of schools accredited by SAG-AFTRA: IDC Professionals and Principal Intimacy Professionals -PIP- with whom she obtained her International Certificate as an Intimacy Coordinator.
After two years of hard work and with experience in more than 20 national projects, Greta Felici joins the Filming Intimacy team.
In recent months, with the new Artist Statute, approved by the Government of Spain and establishing the obligation for production companies to have an intimacy coordinator in their projects in cases of making intimate or sexual scenes, the Filming Intimacy team has been growing to cover filming from the same perspective of work and rigor.
Our goal is to facilitate communication between the artistic and technical teams, creating safe and creative spaces. We are interested in supporting processes where consent, listening, and care do not limit creation, but rather contribute to making it freer, more precise, and more sustainable.
